Celebrating a wedding anniversary is a time of joy and gratitude for the couple, their families, and the community.  

When celebrating a wedding anniversary at Holy Child Parish, the following options are offered for consideration when the wedding was celebrated in the Catholic Church.

The couple may renew their wedding promises and/or receive a blessing for their anniversary either during a weekday Mass or outside the Mass.  An intention may be added to the Prayers of the Faithful at the Mass.

The couple may ask to have a Mass for the anniversary celebrated on a Saturday afternoon, at one of the times offered for weddings (i.e., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.).

On Sundays, the couple may renew their wedding promises and/or receive a blessing for their anniversary outside of Mass, often in the Blessed Sacrament chapel.  On Sundays, an intention may be added to the Prayers of the Faithful at the regular Sunday Mass.
